Ensuring student success!

Our talented instructional support team has over 50 years of collective experience teaching school- aged learners to demonstrate mastery of state standards, as well as each student's individualized education program goals and objectives. To support the academic, social and functional achievement of our learners we employ specialized instructional approaches. To ensure success, we conduct on-going data collection through frequent progress monitoring and we employ a multi-modal approach to learning by considering:

  • differentiated instruction

  • input from teachers & service providers (SLP, OT, TVi)

  • learning style preferences (auditory, kinesthetic, visual)

  • research- proven methodologies (Orton- Gillingham trained)

  • multi-sensory supports (i.e. TouchMath)

  • assistive technology (AAC, executive functioning support)

  • instructional technology (Kami, Read&Write)

  • meaningful accommodations and/or modifications (breaks, checks)

  • real world relevance and application

  • use of the DOK model
